The funny thing about high school is that you just had to be the cool asian. There was some sort of race hierarchy even amongst the asians. The whole person of colour thing really didn't hit me until post secondary.
The fact that there is a name for it, and there are surgeries... the whole culture of how a singular fold in your eye will somehow make you prettier, is wild.
